Up on Montjuïc hill, the Torre Calatrava, designed by Santiago Calatrava, is a telecommunications tower with a fantastic design. The central spindle is only linked to the rest of the structure by walkways and a jack, the whole structure giving a feeling of being very finely balanced and prone to falling at the same time. Built for the Olympic Games of 1992, and reminiscent of the Olympic flame, the while metal structure is starting to rust.

En haut de la colline de Montjuïc, la Torre Calatrava, conçue par Santiago Calatrava, est une tour de télécommunications avec un design fantastique. Le fuseau central n’est lié au reste de la structure que par des passerelles et un vérin, l’ensemble de la structure donne l’impression d’être à la fois très finement équilibrée et prête à tomber. Construite pour les Jeux Olympiques de 1992, inspirée de la flamme Olympique, la structure de métal blanc commence à rouiller.
