There are a lot of red foxes in the city, it’s not unusual to meet one at night. A pair had chosen a derelict urban garden to raise its kits. When they started coming out of the den, they were red balls dashing to and fro in the high grass, now they are bigger and start to explore the surrounding gardens, the corrugated iron roof of a nearby shed is a good vantage point. My zoom is insufficient to get good photos but it’s interesting to document “wildlife” in the city.

Il y a beaucoup de renards roux en ville, il n’est pas rare d’en croiser la nuit. Un couple a choisi un jardin abandonné en ville pour élever ses petits. Quand ils ont commencé à sortir du terrier, c’étaient des boules rouges galopant ça et là dans les hautes herbes, une fois plus grands ils commencent à explorer les jardins environnants. Le toit en tôle ondulée d’un abri de jardin voisin est un bon point d’observation. Mon zoom n’est pas assez puissant pour prendre de bonnes photos, mais c’est intéressant de documenter la « vie sauvage » en ville.
