Two common moorhen chicks resting on a branch while their mother forages close by. Apparently they must only be a few days old, not really cute. Their long legs and big feet are unfortunately hidden. I was so engrossed in the photo I hadn’t noticed the duck cruising behind the tree.

Deux poussins de gallinule poule d’eau se reposent sur une branche pendant que leur mère se nourrit pas très loin. Ils ont l’air de ne pas avoir plus de quelques jours. Leurs longues pattes et grands pieds ne sont malheureusement pas visibles. J’étais tellement occupée à prendre la photo que je n’ai pas vu qu’il y avait un canard naviguant derrière la branche.
